the tip of the iceberg

The world weighs on my shoulders
But what am I to do?
You sometimes drive me crazy
But I worry about you
I know it makes no difference
To what you’re going through
But I see the tip of the iceberg
And I worry about you
Feedback is a gift. But some gifts are more fun to receive than others.

The world weighs on my shoulders
But what am I to do?
You sometimes drive me crazy
But I worry about you
I know it makes no difference
To what you’re going through
But I see the tip of the iceberg
And I worry about you

That was a really deep and accurate analysis you made here. If people took more time for reflection, the world would definitely be a better place. Keep going!

I like the part about “submerged assumption.” I’ve found that I can have conversations with people I completely disagree with if the assumptions are laid out first. It allows you to at least understand where the other person is coming from and better see why they think what they think.
Thanks for stopping by Tip of the Iceberg (Terri’s blog). I see you’ve got the photo credit. I pulled the photo off of the internet and there was no credit attached where I drew it from.
